I am more than happy to draw upon my extensive library of workshops and learning activities to create an engaging, educational, and exciting retreat or learning experience for your team, office, organization, or board. I would also be happy to work with your planning team to design learning outcomes and activities in service of advancing those goals based on your needs.

I have designed and delivered extended experiences for teams and organizations on topics that include:

  • Developing capacities for effective supervision

  • Addressing white supremacy in supervision

  • Working well in teams

  • Writing a mission statement and putting it into practice

  • Mapping work styles, strengths, and opportunities for growth across an organization.

rates

I highly value making my work accessible to as many people and communities as possible. I also believe this to be one way to address historical disenfranchisement and re-distribute resources. For this reason, I offer my services on a sliding scale rate. I have drawn inspiration from friends and other people in my life, including My Invisible Knapsack and hc lou, who employ this practice with their work.

Retreats and extended engagements cost between $1,000-$2,500 for a half-day experience and $2000-$5,000 for a full-day experience. The rate depends on the size of the organization hosting the event, their annual revenue, the type of work they are doing, and the size of the audience. Smaller, community based organizations with small staffing and limited resources who serve communities historically disenfranchised by our current systems can expect to pay at the lower end of the scale while large organizations, universities, and corporations with substantial resources can expect to pay toward the top of the scale.

Experiences longer than 1 day scale at the same rate for each additional half or full day. Experiences longer than 2 days require at least 90 days lead time. Prices for retreats do not include travel and lodging, which are required for engagements outside the greater San Diego, Orange, of Los Angeles County areas.
